I bought my wife a used 2016 Challenger R/T Shaker with 16k miles on it a few weeks ago here. At first the experience was pretty good. She had to go back two days later so she could sign her part. She gave them her set of keys to her trade in and asked for the second set to the Challenger. They told her they couldn't find them and that they wouldn't replace them since it's a used car. I spent $250 on a new fob and having it programmed and a key cut. Two days ago on the same day I received my payment book from the finance company the salesman called to let me know they found the second key fob. I called back to ask if they can give me some kind of compensation for me having to replace a key that they had all along. I mainly asked for coupons for free oil changes at my local dealer since they are an hour and a half from me. He said he would see what he could do but they normally would only do it at that dealer. I haven't heard back and probably won't. Also the day my wife signed her papers they didn't give her anything but the extended warranty contract. They didn't give her the bill of sale or title application. I had to call a few times before they finally emailed me the paperwork. From what I was told this dealer has all new employees but that's still no excuse for the poor customer service. I've bought 4 brand new Dodge vehicles and 1 used Dodge all from local Dodge dealers in central AL but I refuse to do business at this dealer again.
University Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat in Anniston was such a big help with my car purchase. I really feel that they went above and beyond their duty as salesman to really make sure that I got in a car that fit both my family and my budget which was really kind of hard to do. I want to especially thank Tanya and Trooper for making it such an easy transaction and especially Tanya for coming to pick me and my kids up so that we could get all this done on a busy Saturday afternoon. Also to Woody who helped me figure out how to use my key fob. Thank you guys so much for giving me the car of my dreams at a price I really can afford.
Okay so the second salesman I had to deal with, Logan, as well as the finance guy; I believe his name was Jason, were fantastic. If you do decide to go and buy a vehicle from here, Logan is who I recommend. With that said, I came to University looking for a car around 5-8 grand depending. The first saleswoman pulls a list and finds a 2009 Maxima they have listed around 7 grand. I take this car around Anniston and I'm already in love to be honest. Afterwards, I took a good look at the car and saw the front tires were horrible and needed new ones. I said this to them before I had agreed to buy the car. They flat out refused saying, "Those tires are fine. They passed our inspection. They're completely safe." This was a deal breaker til after a lengthy negotiation process, they agreed to knock off $100 for the tires saying, "You can get some used ones down the road." I was completely financing the car so I didn't have any money to put towards tires because if I did I would have put money down on the car. The reason for the 1 star is because after only a couple of months of owning the car and only short trips around the Oxford, Anniston, and Jacksonville area, the tires they claimed to be "safe" slung a wire and are separated with wires exposes and are balding. If it had not slung like it did then I would have had a blow out before too long. I don't expect University to do anything about this for me cause that's just how they are. So I ask University to rethink what they call safe and do a more thorough inspection. I, however, will never buy a used car from them again and I implore everyone that no one else ever does.
The folks at University Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep were so good to us. They didn't stop until they found the exact vehicle the best suited our needs. They worked with our budget, and always listened to us. They went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied. Mr. Craig "Wingman" Graham was AWESOME, and the General Manager Mr. Musso just gained new customers. I have already recommended them to some friends that are looking for a new vehicle. These guys are great. Their dedication to customer satisfaction is second to none. By the way, we LOVE our new van!! Thank you again for everything.
Had a great buying experience with Micheal. Really great sells man. He is great with selling cars. Come out and see him for the great deals.
